The Hotel

The Hotel, its history

The Eden Hotel is fairly easy to get to: If you’re taking the highway, just take the exit Padova Est; if you’re coming from the railway station, the bus lines 14 and 24 can get you to the hotel; meanwhile, if you come from the Venice or Treviso airports, you can rent a private coach that will take you to the hotel.

Cesare Battisti street is quite long (900 meters, more or less); in the past, it was the only street that linked the city centre to the hospital (which is 50 meters away from our hotel)

By walking through the street you can visit Santa Caterina Church, in which Galileo Galilei’s children were baptised, and admire small shops and historical buildings.

The Eden Hotel was a shop from at least the XVII century until 1950-60, when it was transformed into a hotel by Mr. Zancaro, who maintained the building’s original structure.

It has been run by the Fincato family from June 1991 until the present, and in particular the brothers Andrea and Simonetta passionately dedicate their work to the structure.

Our main aim is to make our guests feel comfortable in a nice and familiar environment, and this is why you’ll always be welcomed by one of the two owners.

The Hotel

If it’s your first time here, the Eden Hotel will look just like the other buildings on the sides of the street.
The main entrance is under a porch, and it’s easily recognisable thanks to two lanterns and the hotel’s golden sign.
By entering the hotel, you’ll walk through a small atrium and get to the reception and the nearby hall with seats reserved for those who would like to take a break or have breakfast in the morning. There is infact a bar /cafè service on request and a vending machine for snack, sweet product, soft drink (water, coca-cola, fanta, fruit juices , yogurt) .We remind you that our hotel isn’t qualified to provide catering services.

You can admire the nearby medieval houses and gardens from some of the balconies and windows. Our hotel has an internal garden as well.
